Connecting social accounts
SocialStache publishes through a secure publishing partner — you connect each platform once and posts go out natively.
Connecting
Go to Settings → Social accounts (or the connect step during onboarding) and click the platform you want. You'll be sent to that platform's own login/consent screen — SocialStache never sees your password.
Supported platforms: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, X, and Threads.
Facebook and Instagram business accounts
Instagram publishing requires a professional (business or creator) account linked to a Facebook Page. If your Pages are managed through Meta Business Manager, they'll appear during the connect flow — pick the right Page when prompted. You can change which Page/channel each brand posts to in Settings.
YouTube means Shorts
SocialStache creates short-form content: posts, carousels, and short videos. On YouTube that means Shorts — the videos the AI plans (scripts and shot lists) are built for the short vertical format, and that's what publishing to YouTube is designed around.
(Technically, a long horizontal video you upload yourself may still go out as a regular YouTube video, since YouTube classifies by length and shape. But nothing in SocialStache produces long-form video, so plan on Shorts.)
One account per platform, and it belongs to the brand
A brand's connections represent the company's page or account, not any team member's personal profile. Each brand can connect one account per platform, and everything the team publishes goes out through that account.
So if your company's LinkedIn page is already connected, there's no way (and no need) to also connect your personal LinkedIn — posts you approve or publish for the brand will always come from the company page.
Disconnecting
Use the disconnect button next to a connected account in Settings. This severs the platform connection immediately — scheduled posts for that platform will fail until you reconnect.
