Uploads that seem stuck
Big files genuinely take a while
Upload speed is limited by your connection's upload bandwidth, which is usually a fraction of download. A 600MB 4K clip on a typical home connection can take 5–10 minutes — the progress bar shows filename, percentage, and MB transferred so you can tell moving from stuck.
If it fails mid-way
Files over ~6MB upload in resumable chunks that retry automatically on network blips. If an upload still errors, the message will say why — most commonly the 5GB per-file cap or the storage quota.
Practical tips
- Prefer Wi-Fi over cellular for anything big.
- Keep the tab open until the bar completes — closing it cancels the upload.
- Export at 1080p unless you truly need 4K; it's a quarter of the size and indistinguishable on phone screens.
