How video ideas work

Two shapes

  • Talking-head script — hook / body / CTA, written to be spoken to camera.
  • Off-camera plan — everything else: one or many shots to film, optionally with an on-screen text overlay, an editing note (pacing/cut direction), an off-camera voiceover, and a music mood suggestion.

The AI picks the shape that fits the concept. If your request signals a preference ("talking head" / "I don't want to be on camera"), that wins.

Deliberately minimal first drafts

A first-pass video includes only the elements that serve the concept — a single silent clip is a perfectly valid video, and the AI won't pad it with a fake shot list or an unnecessary voiceover. Want more (or less)? Revise with AI.

Music suggestions

Where they appear, music notes are mood/style guidance only ("upbeat, playful instrumental") — never specific tracks, since licensing depends on your platform and account. They're only generated for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook, where background music fits the native format.

Your preferences

Set camera comfort and describe your usual video style in Settings → Video (or during onboarding — the voice interview captures both automatically). Opting out of camera makes off-camera plans the default; an explicit talking-head request still overrides it per-post.
