Upload limits
The per-file cap
5GB per file, for every upload. Files over ~6MB upload in resumable chunks with a progress bar, so flaky connections retry instead of failing. (Platforms have their own smaller caps — see the table below.)
Platform video limits
These are enforced by the platforms at publish time. SocialStache warns you at upload if a clip exceeds the target platform's limit — you can still attach it, but it may be rejected when publishing.

Carousel rules
- Video clips inside carousels: up to 60 seconds each.
- Instagram crops every carousel slide to the first slide's aspect ratio.
- Up to 10 items per carousel.
Formats
MP4 (H.264 video / AAC audio) is the safest video format on every platform. Images: JPEG, PNG, or WebP.
